You can even show off your group’s skills with the ability to initiate a Group Dance, showing some synchronized swagger. There’s also a new Dance Floor object, where Sims can show off more dances and initiate Dance Battles. While there are obvious upgrades, like being able to do cooler and cooler dances, there are also some more impressive feats – Sims with Dancing skill can do a Fire Dance at the Bonfire. While Sims can already dance in The Sims 4, the addition of a Skill in Get Together lets them get much more adept at busting a move. One of their advanced abilities is called Teleplosion – once your DJ has added it to their DJ Booth, the DJ can activate it to take over TVs in the room for the ultimate performance! It’s electrifying!ĭancing gets more exciting as Sims level it up, too. From making mix tapes to controlling the emotions of the room with the Feel the Crowd ability, the DJ Skill is an absolute must-have for anyone who wants to take over the room and turn the party up to 11. But the more they work, and the harder they party, the better they’ll get at getting the room on its feet. The DJ Skill starts off with Sims learning the basics of pumping up the crowd. The higher you level up your Sim’s Dancing and DJ Skills, the more powerful and bigger the performance. Pretty cool, right? But there’s plenty more to get excited about.

Want a deeper look into how these Skills work? Check out the video below, which walks you through the story of a Sim trying to get in good with the Spin Masters, one of the new Clubs in The Sims 4 Get Together that wants – nay, demands – its members know how to pump up the crowd and cut a rug with the DJ and Dancing Skills. There’s the beautiful World of Windenburg, the customizable Clubs feature (which we talked about last week), and two awesome new Skills: DJ and Dancing. The Sims 4 Get Together* is coming out next month, and brings fun new ways to hang out with friends. I just feel it offers more overall. The Sims 4 Get Together Adds Two New Skills to Master I think GT is more flexible and can be benefited more. The sims somehow are more animated/or way more active in wanting to hang out with you which is great. While GT I think any type of sim would enjoy it and benefit from it because it has more games for them to play, more social interactions, a new BIG beautiful world with great locations, clubs for gatherings of any type of sim you can create and DJ and dance skills with beautiful nightclubs to dance and be lively.

Aliens are great but they can get repetitive too and there is not much abductions or things to do with them. If you don't feel like doing retail or the 3 active careers because you just don't want to at the moment or your sims personality doesn't go with those jobs, you are pretty much out of luck for that expansion. GTW can get repetitive after awhile even though is amazing at first. GTW is great, but I just think GT definitely beats it though. I was overall disappointed, I guess this EP wasn't for me. Now I only choose the active careers every now and then and I almost never create alien families.
#SIMS 4 GET TOGETHER WORLD PATCH#
The career tasks seemed awfully repetitive and I didn't like how a new patch at the time reduced the alien abductions to a great extent, because I just LOVE male alien pregnancies. But after a month or so, I was completely bored of it. For the first couple of days I was so energetic, I wanted to explore the new careers and create many alien families. To be quite honest with you, I was so pumped up about the release of GTW, I had pre-ordered it and couldn't stop counting the days until I saw it in my hands. I'd advise you to get GTW only if you die to put Aliens in your game and/or if you're interested in owning a retail store, as the other Simmers said above. I haven't bought GT yet, since I'm buying it in physical form and it just became available in my country, so the store I usually buy games from doesn't have it in stock yet, it probably will tomorrow or on Saturday.
